Commandment 9 · Tell the truth

A reputation is not expendable evidence

An employee gives an accurate account during a formal workplace review.

A colleague is under investigation. You know a manager’s account contains a false detail, because you were in the room. The manager wants your statement to “support the team.” Correcting it could damage your standing. Remaining silent could help cost an innocent person their livelihood.

Start with what God says
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.Exodus 20:16 · King James Version
