Ten Commands from God

Commandment 1 · Put God first

The tower and the trophy

A boy holds a small trophy beside a fallen cardboard tower while a younger pupil and teacher look on.

You are the builder in this story. Your cardboard tower is ready for the school fair, and you can almost picture the gold ribbon. Then a younger pupil bumps your table. Crash! One side falls. The teacher asks you to help the little pupil pick up the pieces. A thought pops into your head: “I do not care what God says about how I treat people. I MUST win.”
