Commandment 5 · Honour your parents

Rocket launch… interrupted!

A boy looks up from a cardboard rocket as his mother brings in groceries.

Your cardboard rocket has silver fins and a red nose. Countdown is almost ready! Then your mother asks you to help bring in the groceries. You want to say, “You always ruin everything!” The rocket can wait. Your words are ready to launch.

Start with what God says
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.Exodus 20:12 · King James Version
