Commandment 9 · Tell the truth

The flowerpot mystery

A child stands beside a fallen flowerpot while a teacher listens.

A football taps the classroom plant stand. Down goes the pot! You kicked the ball. A friend was standing nearby, and the teacher asks what happened. You can feel your face getting hot. If you blame your friend, you might escape the trouble.

Start with what God says
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.Exodus 20:16 · King James Version
